Hello, we are Bill and Duanne Wiley and would like to take the time to tell you a little bit about us. I am the photographer and Duane just keeps me on the straight and narrow. We are working to promote our site into an enjoyable experience for our visitors.

We were married in the 1960's and have 3 children, all grown up and gone now, however, we do love getting to visit and see the grandkids. Our oldest daughter and family lives in San Clemente Ca., along with our son and his wife. Our youngest daughter and family live in Thousand Oaks Ca. with their 2 boys. So living here in Phoenix, we get out that way quite often.

I began taking photos while I was in the Navy in the 70's. After learning about the different aspects of photography, I wanted to do my own processing. In days long past, film was the only medium available, so I purchased an enlarger and all the other equipment required to develop my images. I set up my darkroom in my room in the barracks in Bermuda by blocking the windows with black material. It was an exhilarating experience to say the least. When I wasn't flying some long boring mission, I was either out taking photos or in my room processing them.

A few years later returning from flying a mission in search of a reported soviet submarine. a driver was waiting to transport me to the duty office. I had no idea what was going on and just a few short minutes later I found out. It seems that my father had been taken to the hospital and was not doing well and not expected to pull through. I flew home to Los Angeles and spent the week there. While I was gone, yes, someone broke into my house and all my camera equipment was stolen. After that, I lost my enthusiasm for photography and did very little for quite some time.

Several years later I finally bought another Nikon camera, but was still not shooting to the degree I was before. In 2009, I had my Nikon FA film camera refurbished and cleaned and started dabbling in photography again. Thankfully, now I am back with my full enthusiasm and taking photos aplenty. I have now switched over to digital, so I don't have to spend a ton of cash sending the film off to be processed. Hooray for technology!

Well, to say the least, I am once again thoroughly enjoying myself with a camera in hand. We hope you enjoy viewing the photos as seen through our eyes as much as we enjoyed shooting them for your pleasure.

Now that Duane has retired, we are traveling much more than in the past. We have been to the Hawaiian Islands and places in Europe, alone with many other interesting places here in our own backyard. Enjoy the images, and should you feel compelled to leave us a note, just click on the contact us tab and have at it!

Thank you for stopping by and come back often. Tell your friends about our site, so they too can view the images.
